Three National Municipality Associations will be established in Azerbaijan, Zeynal Nagdaliyev, the chief of the department for work with administrative-territorial bodies of the Executive Office of Azerbaijani President, told journalists on August 10,Trend reports.
The first association will unify the municipalities of settlements, the second one cities and the third one villages. In September, the constituent assembly of these organs will be held and they should be created by the coordination organ.
Expressing his attitude towards replacing the Executive Power of Baku City with municipalities, Nagdaliyev noted that it is not a difficult question, solution of which requires time.
