A clean-up work started over the batch of ammunition in Saloglu village of Agstafa district of Azerbaijan, Trend reports with reference to Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA).

It is considered that the store located under open air for many years contains approximately 40 000 non-blown up ammunition. Each day, about 1100 non-blown up ammunitions are transferred from the batch to the special zone of ANAMA for sterilization. However, as it is impossible to carry out the majority of store, they are rendered harmless in the place.

The local executive power and police follows the clean-up process.
