Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev sent a congratulatory letter to the Federal Chancellor and the Federal President of Germany, Angela Merkel and Horstow in the occasion of their National Holiday, Unification of Germany, Trend reports.
We attach great importance to the development of bilateral relationships between Azerbaijan and Germany, and we are happy with the expansion of relationships and the successful co-operation both on bilateral format and within the frames of international organizations, the letter reads.
The President voiced his confidence that achievements in the bilateral co-operation would promote the welfare of the two nations.
