Today, on October 10, Azerbaijan`s President Ilham Aliyev has accepted the delegation of Great Britain`s Parliament in the Interparliamentary Union, Trend reports. During the meeting, the Head of the Azerbaijani State told his British guests about the situation over Azerbaijan`s economic development, democratization of society, and large-scale works being carries out in other spheres.
British MP Brian Jenkins told that many members of the delegation are for the first time in Azerbaijan. He also pointed out successes achieved by the country, particularly over the recent times. It made a great impression on the whole British delegation. The guest also added that the information about activities in Azerbaijan the Azerbaijani President provided them with will help them to know the country better.
