The President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, stated in his interview with the foreign media accredited in Russia that the tension in the relationships between Russia and Georgia did not affect Azerbaijan.
Azerbaijan borders with Russia and Georgia and has very good relationships with each of these countries, which is of strategic character. So, the last developments between Russia and Georgia will never affect on the relationships with Azerbaijan, Mr. Aliyev noted.
Azerbaijan does not interfere into the country's interior affairs. If all countries accent on their own problems, the world will become more secure, the Azerbaijani President stressed.
