Prospects of Azerbaijani-Georgian Relations Will be Discussed in Baku

On October 31, the Georgian Foreign Minister Gela Bejuashvili will arrive to Baku on a short-term visit on his way to Moscow, the Advisor of the Georgian Embassy in Azerbaijan Alexander Akhvediani told Trend.

The Georgian Foreign Minister will arrive in Baku in the morning. The program of the short-visit includes meeting with the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov, and possibly the President Ilham Aliyev.

The consultations will focus on the prospects of the bilateral relations, regional co-operation and co-operation within the regional and international organizations. The sides will discuss their positions on the eve of the forthcoming meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Black Sea Economic Co-operation (BSEC) member-countries scheduled to take place on November 1-2 in Moscow, and the next meeting of the Council of CIS Foreign Ministers due in November in Minsk.

In the evening of October 31, the Georgian Foreign Minister will depart from Baku to Moscow to participate in the Moscow meeting of BSEC Foreign Ministers on November 1-2.
