The President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev forwarded a congratulation letter to the President of Lithuania Valdas Adamkus on his 80th jubilee, Trend reports.
Today, the traditional friendly relations and co-operation between Azerbaijan and Lithuania have received new supports and a favorable ground has been created for the beneficial co-operation on bilateral base and within interregional exchange on the international level. Your visit to our country in the summer of this year, documents signed in Baku and exchange of views, further fostered the development of the bilateral relations and opened broad prospects for the co-operation. I am sure that we will continue our successive efforts in the way of all-sided and dynamic development of the Azerbaijani and Lithuania relations, President said in the letter.
