The President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, offered his condolences to the head and people of Turkey with regards to the death of ex-Prime Minister, Bulent Ejevit, Trend reports. During his life, Bulent Ejevit selflessly worked towards the development of the Turk world and Turk-speaking people and made significant contributions towards the strengthening of the fraternal and friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey, the letter stated.
Ilham Aliyev offered his deepest condolences to the Turkish President, Ahmed Nejdet Sezer, Prime Minister, Rajab Teyyub Erdogan and the wife of the ex-Prime Minister, Rehshan Ejevit, for the loss of an outstanding state and political figure of Turkey.
