Iranian Representative to US Blamed UN in a Double Standards in Human Rights Issue

Mrs. Peymane Khastae, Representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Committee of

UN General Assembly, criticizing numerous violations of human rights in western countries, including USA and Canada, has blamed the Zionist's regime ignoring international law and norms toward the innocent people of Palestine, Trend reports referring to a message spread by the Iranian Embassy to Azerbaijan.

Blaming UN in double standards in the human rights issue in the sitting of the annual Assembly of the third Committee, Mrs. Khastae stated that the international community should pay serious attention to the violations of the rights of the autochthon population of Canada, and that the issue on the protecting Canada's autochthon citizens rights should be included to the agenda of the human rights organizations

The Iranian representative to UN marked the increasing discrimination toward emigrants in Canada, Europe, and US, and emphasized the facts on violating human rights, forming secret prisons, etc. under the pretext of the American struggle against terrorism.

She said that it was necessary to correct the Western position to Islam and suspend current anti-Islam campaign and waves spread in European and American countries. She once more reminded daily murdering of Palestinians by Israelis, and said that the Israelis introduce themselves as those who respected human rights when they openly violate them. She also brought to the fact that UN decisions and resolutions becoming weak and comic.
