Chairman of Azerbaijan Democratic Reforms Party Held Meetings in White House and Congress

Within his visit to USA, Asim Mollazadeh, Chairman of the Democratic Reforms party of Azerbaijan, met Dan Freed, Deputy US State Secretary, the press-service of the Party told Trend.

During the meeting, relations between US and Azerbaijan, resolution of the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the situation in Azerbaijan and in the region was discussed.

At the White House, Mr. Mollazadeh met Matthew Palmer, Director of the Department for Issues with Europe of the US National Security Council. During the meeting, relations between US and Azerbaijan, resolution of the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, as well as the situation in the region were discussed.

Moreover, the Chairman of the Democratic Reforms Party gave a speech on the situation in Azerbaijan and South Caucasus in the Centre for Central Asian Research of the John Hopkins.

Representatives of Embassies to US, analytical research centres, and employees of different governmental organizations took part in the event. Mr. Mollazadeh had held meetings in the US Senate and the House of Representatives of the US Congress.
