Azerbaijani Experts for Delimitation and Demarcation Work on Borders with Georgia and Russia

Garib Mamadov, Chairman of the State Committee on Land and Cartography, said that work of Azerbaijani specialists for delimitation and demarcation of boundaries in Georgia is expected to be completed in a day or two, Trend reports.

According to Mr. Mammadov, experts of the two countries, are working on the disputed frontier territories, and conducted necessary video shoot of the territories. Seven or eight issues on the delimitation of the boundaries with Georgia are expected to be viewed as soon as they return.

He also added that another group of Azerbaijani experts were on the border with Russia. Corresponding discussions are expected to be held and corresponding decisions will be taken after they return.

Azerbaijan agreed on 300 km of the state boundary with Georgia, and 85 percent of its frontiers with Russia.
