MP Ganira Pashayeva: We Appealed to PACE with a Request to Clarify Why Azerbaijan Cut off At PACE's Discussing Armenia's Obligations to CE

Ganira Pashayeva, a Member of the Azerbaijan Parliament (Milli Majlis), a Member of the Azerbaijani Delegation to PACE (Parliamentary Assembly to Council of Europe), has told Trend that the members of the Azerbaijani delegation have appealed to PACE with a request to clarify the issue why Azerbaijan was cut off during the discussion of Armenia's obligations to the Council of Europe (CE) during the sitting of PACE.

According to the Azerbaijani MP, the names of the delegates to PACE representing Azerbaijan and Turkey were excluded from the lists of those who are to deliver their speeches. We evaluated it as a bad sign and appealed to PACE with a request to clarify this issue, stressed her, and noted that that the Azerbaijani delegation had submitted their application to take part in these discussions as far back as in December, 2006.
