Azerbaijan delegation headed by Gudsi Osmanov, Azerbaijan Consul General to Saint-Petersburg, started their visit to the Russian Republic of Karelia on January 29, a source in the Azerbaijan Consul General to the Russian Northern Capital informed Trend. During the visit, Mr. Osmanov is expected to meet the Chairman of the Legislative Council of Karelia, Mr. N. N. Levin, Minister for National and Political Issues of the Republic, Mr. A. A. Manin, Mayor of Petrozavodsk City, Mr. V. N. Maslyakov, Minister of Interior of the Republic, Mr. I. V. Aleshin, Public Prosecutor of Karelia, Mr. O. V. Dupak. During the meeting, bilateral relations in different spheres between Azerbaijan and the Russian Republic, formation and consolidation of the Azerbaijan Diaspora, solving issues with our compatriots living and working there, will be discussed.
