The British Embassy in Baku informed Trend that the Azerbaijani Ambassador to the UK, Rafael Ibrahimov, spoke of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and Khojaly tragedy in a meeting at St Andrews University in Scotland.
The roundtable discussions dedicated to problems of the South Caucasus was organized by the Foreign Relationships Department at the University. In his speech the diplomat particularly spoke about the history of the Nagorno-Karabakh and consequences of Armenian aggression against the people of Azerbaijan.
On the eve of 15th anniversary of Khojaly tragedy the Ambassador told of Armenians' armed attacks on Azerbaijani civilians, which resulted in the displacement of over 1 million Azerbaijanis, killed many people including women, children and the elderly.
