Azerbaijan , Baku /corr Trend S.Babayeva/ On 21 February, Azerbaijan and Georgia signed a Memorandum on Mutual Understanding in Baku on Joint Use and Protection of Trans-border Water Resources.
The document was undersigned by the Azerbaijani Ecology Minister, Huseyn Bagirov and Georgian Environment Minister, David Tkeshelashvili.
The countries have established working groups for the protection of bio-variety, some nature territories, trans-border waters and joint monitoring exercises in the border zones.
