Azerbaijan, Baku /corr. Т Aghayeva/ Azerbaijan's Ministry of Emergency Situation Department has prepared an emergency plan to prevent the possibility of a spring flood.
According to Faig Taghizadeh, the Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations, the Ministry has upgraded and repaired the pumps in large rivers. In the cases of the Kur and Araz rivers, the Ministry will now be able to prevent floods occurring in a timely manner, added the Minister.
