Commission on Border Decimation between Azerbaijan and Georgia Begins in Baku

Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend , corr A.Ismayilova / A meeting of the commission on the delimitation and demarcation of the state border between Azerbaijan and Georgia has begun in Baku. The Georgian intergovernmental delegation, comprising of 12 people, is headed by the Deputy Foreign Minister, Georgiy Manjegaladze.

The delegation also includes the head of the national border police, the Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister, Badri Bitzadze. The Azerbaijani delegation is led by the Deputy Foreign Minister, Khalaf Khalafov.

Both parties are discussing the delimitation of territory along the 470 km length state border between Azerbaijan and Georgia. Currently 210 km section of the total territory has already been co-ordinated.
