Kirtskhalia/ During the international conference, dedicated to issues with the fight with international terrorism, drug trafficking, and human beings traffic, being held in Tbilisi today, Ramil Usubov, Azerbaijan's Interior Minister Azerbaijan, has stated that Azerbaijan is opened for cooperation within the fight with drug transit and trafficking, Trend Correspondent to Tbilisi reports.
Representatives of 15 countries, representing such influential international organizations like NATO, UN, UNDP, OSCE, EU, Marshall Europe Centre, etc., are participating in the work of the conference.
Mr. Usubov emphasized that, by the Decree of the Azerbaijani President, Ilham Aliyev, Azerbaijan had founded a corresponding State Commission just in order to combat drug trafficking and trade. "Drug trafficking and the fight with international terrorism are a constant trouble everybody faces, and therefore, it requires thorough analysis and permanent work to coordinate the joint fight with them," he said.
The head of the Azerbaijan Interior Office stressed that his country was ready for cooperation with all interested countries and parties, particularly with the regional ones. "I hope that the recommendations elaborated in this conference will help our common fight with drug trafficking and international terrorism," emphasized Mr. Usubov.
