Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend E.Huseynly / On 30 March the famous artists and singers of Azerbaijan have appealed to the President, Ilham Aliyev, to release the Parliamentarian, Huseyn Abdullayev.
The appeal stated "The art workers are concerned by the incident which occurred between the Parliamentarians, Huseyn Abdullayev and Fazail Agamaly. We are sure that you are only person who can objectively resolve the problem and make a fair decision. Abdullayev has provided financial support to many young talents. In consideration of this, we ask you to release him from imprisonment".
The appeal was signed by Khuraman Gasimova, Fidan Gasimova, Ilham Guliyeva, Zulfiya Khanbabayeva, Eldar Mansurov, Tarana Muradova, Amina Yusifgizi, Afag Melikova, Aygun Kazimova, Brilliant Dadashova, Telman Adgozelov, Arif Gaziyev, Firangiz Mutallimova, Ilgar Muradov, Roya, Nisa Gasimova, Siyavush Kerimi, Afag Beshirgizi.
