President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation Meets with Wife of French Prime Minister

Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend P.Amirjanov / On 2 April, during her visit to France, the First Lady of Azerbaijan, President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO and ISESCO and Deputy of the Azerbaijani Parliament, Mehriban Aliyeva, met with Marilor de Villepin, the wife of French Prime Minister, Dominique de Villepin, at their residence.

Marilor de Villepin informed Aliyeva of the history of the Matinon Palace which is one of the oldest and most magnificent architectural monuments in Paris, as well as other rooms within the Palace.

A meeting then took place between Marilor and Aliyeva during which time Marilor spoke of a Society which she headed to assist disabled people in France, as well as of special programs implemented for this purpose.

Aliyeva stressed that the activities of the Foundation headed by her are closely related. She spoke of the special programs of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and said that full assistance is provided, including the treatment of children. She highlighted the importance of exchanging experiences within this sphere.
