Azerbaijan, Baku / Тrend corr E. Huseynli / Ali Hasanov, the head of the Public and Political Department at the Azerbaijani President's Executive Administration, reported on 18 April that the Azerbaijani Government had discussed the recent proposals of the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe.
Hasanov noted that some of the proposals were acceptable for Azerbaijan, while the others were not. "The proposals that are considered to be acceptable will be put for discussions," Hasanov added.
Formation of election commissions on parity basis is among these proposals.
Hasanov avoided further information and said that the details will be publicized if necessary.
