Trainload of Russian Military Equipment to Leave Batumi Military Unit via Azerbaijan
Georgia, Tbilisi / Тrend corr N. Kirtskhalia / A trainload of Russian military equipment will leave the Russian Batumi military unit (Georgia) on 15 May. The Georgian Defence Ministry reported on 14 May that a trainload of Russian military equipment is the first to leave Georgia via Azerbaijan this year.
Some four motorcades with Russia's military equipment left the military unit of Akhalkalaki, Georgia on 13 May. The equipment was relocated to Russia's military unit in Gumri, Armenia.
A trainload from Batumi will travel to Russia via Azerbaijan. Russian troops have to leave Georgia by 2008.
