Consulate of  Turkey to be Opened in   Ganja,  Azerbaijan: Turkish Ambassador

Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend V.Mammadov / The Ambassador of Turkey to Azerbaijan, Huseyn Avni Karsipglu, who is visiting Ganja city of Azerbaijan, said on 18 May that a Turkish Consulate is planned for Ganja.

The Ambassador's meeting with the Head of Ganja Executive Power, Eldar Azizov, focused on the expansion of the economic and cultural relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey, beginning with tourism and agriculture. In addition, consultations are presently being held to open the branch of the Turkish Anatoly Lyceum in Ganja. "Work must be carried out in order to expand the economic relations between the business people of Azerbaijan and Turkey. Cooperating in agriculture would prove to be expedient. For instance, it is possible to apply justified experience of growing various kinds of fruits and vegetables in the rural regions of Azerbaijan and export the products to the world market," the Ambassador said.
