Trend E.Huseynly / The President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, who is visiting Azerbaijan's district of Tovuz, said on 30 May that nearly 552,000 new workplaces have been opened in Azerbaijan since 2003. Highlighting the reduction of the poverty, the State Head stressed that the average monthly salary amounts to $200 and will increase by the end of the year. In addition, the President said that the Government of Azerbaijan pays special attention to the development of the non-oil sector.
Within his visit, the President participated in the ceremony of laying the first stone of a new Olympic Complex in Tovuz.
