Agenda of Georgian President’s Visit to Baku Publicized

Georgia, Tbilisi / corr Trend N.Kirtzkhalia / Georgian PresidentMikhael Saakashvili left for Baku on 18 June to participate in the summit of heads of states of GUAM member-countries.

The Georgian delegation includes Georgian Foreign Minister, Gela Bezhuashvili, the Energy Minister, Nikoloz Gilauri, the Minister for Education and Science, Alexander Lomaya, the Minister for Culture, Preservation of Monuments and Sports, Georgiy Gabashvili, the head of the Border Police, Badri Bitzadze and other senior officials.

The Georgian State Office announced that on 18 June President Saakashvili is scheduled to have meetings with the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Polish President Leck Kachinskiy and the Lithuanian President Valdas Adamkus. Furthermore, there are plans to arrange a meeting in the format of GUAM - Poland.

On 19 June a plenary meeting of GUAM member-countries will be held and afterwards there are plans to sign a joint declaration. At the end, the participants of the top meeting will hold a news conference
