Azerbaijan, Sheki / corr Trend E.Guliyev / Azerbaijani air troops put on a demonstration in the Balakan region in connection to the 89th anniversary of the establishment of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces.
Addressing the event Novruzali Orujov, the chairman of the Sports and Technical Society of Voluntary Military Patriotism, stated that the Balakan Aviation Centre restored operations after a 17-year break. In the near future there are plans to buy new sports airliners for the centre to train amateur pilots.
The centre purchased parachutes from the Russian village of Ivanovka.
Balakan is located 392km from Baku.
