Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. I.Alizadeh / Arif Hajili, the head of the Central executive department of the Azerbaijani Musavat Party, has stated that the Party will hold mass protest actions in September.
Hajili noted that Musavat would begin considering the issue due to hold of mass protest actions and will make certain decisions in near future.
"Journalist planned to hold rally against the current state of Azerbaijani press. All forces of democratic camp planned to take part at rally. While separate rally of Musavat can be appreciated as hindrance to this process. Therefore, Musavat stopped rally," Hajili said.
The requirements of Musavat will be announced after discussions.
"The slogans linking with political issues will be sounded during the actions due to upcoming presidential elections. The main issues are change in the Election Code, formation of election commission, release of political prisoners and many other problems," Hajili added.
Musavat is ready to discuss to hold joint protest actions with other opposition parties.
