Corruption Revealed in Economic Contracts Increases Tension Between Iran and France: Iranian Political Scientist

Due to these facts officials of France intends to withdrew its troops from Iran demonstrating solidarity to the US and Europe," Dr.Hossein Lajavardi, the Iranian political scientist and chairman of the Association of Iranian Researchers, said.

France has more close economic connection with Iran among the other European countries. France made critical statements against Iran after coming of Nicolas Sarkozy to the presidential post.

The French Government realized unprofitableness of political-economic relations with Iran, Lajavardi said to the Trend Agency by the telephone from London.

France has reason for sharp statements against Iran. Despite sanctions of international organizations and public against Iran, France usually communicates with the official Tehran.

Recently the French company of 'Total' concludes several oil contracts with Iran. ' Reno', 'Pejo' and 'Sitroen' also concluded contracts with Iran, the political scientist said.

France required imposing the 3rd resolution of the Security Council of the UN on Iran and called for the French companies to limit economic ties with Iran.

Sarkozy knows that limitation of investments will negatively affect on economic state of both countries. France wants to support the policy of the US and Great Britain.

"Gordon Brown, the Prime Minister of Great Britain made a critical statement against Iran. The US President, Jorge W.Bush visited Iraq to establish new military stuff, which was planning to use during the attack on Iran. Officials from German undertook more toughen steps for isolation of Iran. Iran may face danger if not to reject form its nuclear program, al-Baradei, IAEA's chairman warned Iran.

The French Foreign Minister said on 6 September that France would use more toughen measures against Iran over the sanctions of the UN's Security Council.
