Azerbaijan, Lankaran / Trend cor. P.Aliyeva / The national minorities, including Talish, have possibility to work in offices, there is no limitation in Azerbaijan, the information was stated during the meeting of the Lankaran Executive Administration with the members of the Consultative Committee on Framework Convention of the Council of Europe on protection of national minorities.
The European guests visited the Lankaran State University and familiarized with the teaching system in Lankaran region within the framework of the visit.
The representatives of the Council of Europe came to Azerbaijan to hold monitorings concerning current conditions of national minorities in the region.
Representatives of 14 national minorities reside in Azerbaijan, Russians, Lazgi, Talish, Avari, Tatari, Turks-Mashati, Sakhuri, Ukrainians, Kurds, Tats, Udins and Jewish.
