Azerbaijan, Baku / Т corr K. Zarbaliyeva / The European Convention on the protection of children from sexual exploitation and violence was announced ready for signing. The decision was made at the 28th conference of European Justice Ministers in Spain.
Securing of the rights for justice of vulnerable groups, especially migrants and children was discussed at the conference.
Azerbaijan was represented by Justice Minister Fikrat Mammadov. He spoke on securing children's rights for justice in Azerbaijan and informed of work intended to strengthen judicial power and to increase justice efficiency, as well as arrangements intended for the development of juvenile justice.
During the conference the Azerbaijani Justice Minister met with his Spanish counterpart Mariano Fernandez Bermejo. They exchanged theirs views on the expansion of juridical cooperation between the countries.
