Azerbaijan, Baku, 5 March / corr. Trend K. Zarbaliyeva/ The investigation into the case of Khanlar Mammadov, who attacked the police office in Sabail district of Baku and killing one & wounding three persons, was completed and was sent to court.
The criminal case has been filed against Mammadov on the article of attempt to kill two or more people, willful murder, and on illegal possession and sale of the arms, the Prosecutor's Office of Baku said to Trend .
The case has been sent to the Court for Heinous Crimes for consideration.
On 21 Nov2007, Mammadov attacked the 8th police office of Sabail district of Baku to kill Zakir Sadigov- in order to take revenge from him. When he did not find Zakir Sdigov in his office he shot employee of the police office who showed him some resistance. The realtor Muslim Jabrailov who was in the office at that time and Imdad Nazarov, an employee of the office, were wounded as a result of gunfire. A day later, the killer was detained from the Ganja city of Azerbaijan.
