International Conference on Day of Genocide of Azerbaijanis Under Way in Baku

Azerbaijan, Baku, 30 March / corr. Trend S. The two-day conference is dedicated to the Day of Genocide of Azerbaijanis, 31 March.

According to Aslanov, the strategic significance of Azerbaijan has always called the attention of a number of countries who tried to master the country, its history and culture.

According to Aslanov, who occupied Azerbaijani territories and repeatedly committed genocide against Azerbaijanis are introducing themselves as victims. "It is inconceivable provocation. The historians of other countries as well have written about atrocities of Armenians against Azerbaijanis committed during the genocide. It means those facts have been established not only by Azerbaijanis themselves. Bahar Muradova, the vice-speaker of Azerbaijani parliament said that Armenia is not able to compete with Azerbaijan in any issue, but we must save our face and demonstrate our peaceful intentions toward those who are our enemies," Murdova said.
