Contest for Vacancies to 26 State Bodies Completed in Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan, Baku, 24 May / Trend corr. K.Zarbaliyeva / The contest for vacancies to 26 state bodies was completed in Azerbaijan.

The State Commission on State Service Issues at the Presidential Administration reported to Trend that 113 candidates out of 324 candidates have successfully passed the first stage of exams and their names were submitted to the state bodies.

Most candidates passed the exams to the State Migration Service 21 places, State Committee on Work with Religious Structures 10 places, Labour and Social Protection Ministry 8 places and State Committee on State Service Issues 7 places. No candidate has passed the exams to the vacancies in the State Committee on State Building and Architecture.

On 8 February 2008, State Commission on State Service Issues at the Presidential Administration announced contest for 476 vacancies in 9 state bodies on 6 and 9 classifications of administrative service. About 1,717 people submitted applicants for participation in the contest. (75% - men and 25% -women).

The test was held on 19 March 2008, and 324 candidates had been interviewed from 9 April to 23 May.

Twelve candidates to 9 vacancies to the State Committee on Land and Cartography, 21 candidates to 17 vacancies to State Statistical Committee and кандидата на 15 candidates for 23 vacancies to Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry could not pass the exams.
