Azerbaijan, Baku, 28 August / Trend corr. L.Abdulazimova / The World Youth Employment Summit (YES) is sure that, being a leader in the region and possessing an economic potential, Azerbaijan may solve youth employment problems soon. This was said by Punam Akhualia, President of YES.
"The youth employment problems will be discussed at the 4th World Youth Employment Summit in Baku from 24 to 27 September," Akhualia said.
The youth employment campaign is to popularize the UN Millennium Development Goals, as well as unemployment problems amongst youth, investments into the development of economy, education, and health spheres, Akhualia said.
Some 600 representatives from more than 100 countries have been invited to attend at the summit. The representatives are officials from countries and international organizations, state department and business-companies heads.
The 4th World Youth Employment Summit is sponsored by the Azerbaijani Youth and Sports Ministry, Heydar Aliyev Foundations and YES itself.
