Azerbaijani Newspaper to Resume Edition

Azerbaijan, Baku, 1 September / Trend corr. K.Zarbaliyeva / The Mukhalifat newspaper, which has suspended its edition due to financial problems, will resume its edition soon.

Rovshan Kabirli, chief editor of the newspaper, told Trend that the newspaper would resume edition on 6 September.

In the new edition readers will get acquainted with continuation of the article 'Bayildan Bayila sayahat' (Travelling from Bayil to Bayil), which was worked out on the ground of the diary by Kabirli and the cycles by the writer Elchin Hasani "Letters from Armenian prison".

Since 1991, Mukhalifat newspaper has been published weekly. The latest edition was issued on 28 June 2008.

Aliyev accused journalists on the Article 147.2 (slander). Journalists were sentenced to two years and six months of imprisonment by the decision of the Yasamal District Court.
