Azerbaijan, Baku, 26 September/ Trend , corr S. Agayeva/ Heydar Aliyev Foundation has granted a scholarship to the winners of Paralympics. The list of scholarship receivers includes prize winners of Sydney, Athens and Beijing Olympic Games.
Azerbaijan became country of sport for the last years, Mehriban Aliyeva, President of Foundation, good -will ambassador of UNESCO and ISESCO said at a meeting with Azerbaijani prize winners of Olympic Games.
The recent results of Azerbaijani sportsmen in Olympic and Paralympics demonstrated it to whole world, first lady of Azerbaijan said.
Azerbaijani sportsmen won 17 medals in Beijing.
Management of Heydar Aliyev Foundation has granted scholarships to all prize winners of Paralympics.
