DNA Analyses of Dead Azerbaijanis in Perm Jet Crash to Take 3 Months

Azerbaijan, Baku, 2 October / Trend corr. R.Novruzov / DNA analyses of remains of Azerbaijanis, who died in a jet crash in Perm, will finish after more than three months, regional representation of the All-Russian Azerbaijanis Congress (AAC) organization on Perm Region of Russia, told Trend over telephone on 2 October.

It is impossible to give remains to relatives before completion of the DNA analyses, the presentation said. Families of dead people will get compensations after three or four months - after results of the DNA analyses, the representation said.

The Air Fleet Nord subsidiary of the Air Fleet airline company carried out the flight 821 on the Moscow-Perm route. The plane flew from Moscow at 02.10AM Moscow time on 14 September and communication was lost when the plane made a landing at 1,500m height in two hours. The Boeing 737 fell down access road of Transsibir main railway and wreckages of the plane were thrown about several ten kilometers away from populated areas in Industrial Region. The plane crash killed 88 passengers and 11 of them were Azerbaijanis.
