Azerbaijani Students Studying Abroad Interested in Job in Motherland, Says Minister

Azerbaijan, Baku, 21 October / Trend corr. J.Babayeva / The Azerbaijani students studying abroad have begun to be interested in job in motherland.

"Four students, who made their MA at the German and British Universities, applied to the Ministry of Education to get a job," Misir Mardanov, the Minister of Education told journalists on 21 October.

According to the Minister, earlier the Azerbaijani students studying abroad did not return to the motherland, because they preferred to work at the countries, where they graduated from universities and the Ministry of Education used to worry about it.

About 4,000 Azerbaijani students study abroad and 1,000 of them get education through the government's financing.

Priority spheres, which the Azerbaijani youth want to study abroad, include industry, information and communication technologies, agriculture, transport, construction, education, medicine, culture, law, services and state management.
