Azerbaijan, Baku, 11 November / Trend / The opening ceremony of the international tourism exhibition World Travel Market took place in London on 11 November, Azerbaijani Embassy in Great Britain said.
Attended by 5,500 companies from 200 countries worldwide, in the exhibition Azerbaijan was represented by the delegation led by the head of tourism department of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Aydin Ismiyev. Two Azerbaijani companies - Improtex Travel and Baku-Tur - took part in the exhibition.
Today a separate stand dedicated to Azerbaijan was opened. The Ambassador of Azerbaijan to London, F.Gurbanov participated in the event.
The exhibition will conclude on 13 November.
