European football clubs are being examined to develop a method to finance Azerbaijani football clubs.
"We are studying European experience to finance our clubs. The process will last 8 months," Azerbaijan Football Federations Association (AFFA) Secretary General Elkhan Mammadov said at a presentation ceremony in Ganja.
Accounts will be formed where clubs and fans can transfer funds.
"Such a method has proven worthwhile in Europe," Mammadov said.
Football veteran and Regional Football Federations President Isgandar Javadov attended the event.
The Ganja team is expected to participate in the Azerbaijani Premier League next year.
The Ganja club broke up in 2005 due to financial problems.
It is necessary to pay attention to children's football to revive the sport in Ganja, Ganja Football Federation President Khanlar Fatiyev said.
The Ganja club's new Chairman Elmir Aliyev was presented to the public later during the event.
