A new head coach of the Turkish Galatasaray football club has been publicized.
Former Captain of the club and the Turkish national football team Bulent Korkmaz was appointed a head coach of the club.
The club signed a contract with Korkmaz for 1.5 years, the Turkish media reported.
Galatasaray dramatically lost to Kocaelispor where Azerbaijani Footballer Rashad Sadigov plays with 2:5 score in the Turkish Super League on Feb. 22.
The club's management decided to dismiss the head coach after a match in the Ali Sam Yen stadium.
Skibbe was appointed head coach of Galatasaray in summer 2008.
