The Kur Olympic Sports Centre will be commissioned in Azerbaijan's Mingachevir city in late 2009, Azerbaijan National Rowing Federation told Trend on Feb. 26.
Construction of the Olympic centre was commenced in August 2007.
The construction is financed by the Youth and Sports ministry and realized by the Serv-Az company.
The Kur Olympic Sports Centre is designated to develop sports rowing varieties.
