Ninety-eight citizens of Azerbaijan have filed applications to Russian higher schools including the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO- Russia), the Azerbaijani State Commission on Student Admission reported on May 13.
The entrance exams to Russian higher schools will be held on May 15. An interview will be held with succeeded applicants on May 16. The aim of the interview is to reveal the knowledge of Russian language of the Azerbaijani department and Azerbaijani language of Russian department.
The Russian Federation allocated 100 places in higher schools for Azerbaijani students for 2009-2010 and three places in MGIMO.
