Azerbaijani and Turkish diaspora organizations will enhance cooperation.

"A round table with the participation of Azerbaijani and Turkish diaspora organizations will be held in Berlin on July 1 at the Azerbaijani Coordination Centre in Germany (ACCG)," the press service of the State Committee for Work with Diaspora told Trend on June 30.

According to the ACCG Executive Director Samira Patzer Ismaylova, the purpose of the round table is to get familiarized with the activities of the Center of Turkish diaspora organizations in Berlin, and find ways of mutually beneficial cooperation between diaspora organizations. "During the round table, the heads of Turkish communities will be informed of the activities of ACCG, and will be discussed jointly lobbying the Turks and the Azerbaijanis," the report says.

Ismaylova said that an exchange of views will be held during the event regarding establishing a durable foundation for closer contacts between young Azeri and Turkish people, who were born in Germany, and how to bring them to diaspora activity. The meeting will bring together the representatives of the European Azerbaijanis Congress, Culture Centre of Azerbaijan, leadership of Azerbaijani-German Center, as well as representatives of the Turkish Community in Germany, Ataturk Center and representatives of Turkish business circles. The round table also invited students from Azerbaijan, who get education in Germany.
