Kiev-Ganja-Kiev flights will start operating in order to attract tourists from Ukraine to Azerbaijan and ensure their convenience. Agreement on opening the flight was made during the negotiations of Azerbaijani diaspora with Donbasaero Company.
"From August 17, every Monday a passenger aircraft with 180 seats will fly from Kiev to Ganja. On the same day, at 19:30 the plane will depart from Ganja to Kiev. The purpose of the new flight is to provide a convenient connection between Ukraine and Ganja, as well as provide a convenient travel of citizens of Ukraine to Ganja, Gabala, Dashkesan and other nearby regions of Azerbaijan," said the representative of the Congress of World Azerbaijanis in Ukraine Mohlat Huseynov. He said that the goal of the new flight is to attract Ukrainian tourists in Azerbaijan.
"We wish that the Ukrainians were actively involved in tourism development in Azerbaijan. As Ganja is located closer to the front line, we would like to present the truth about the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict to the world community, and in this city there are many facts of Armenian vandalism," he said.
