Spain reported an additional death from the A/H1N1 flu on Saturday, raising the death toll in the country to 13, Xinhua reported.
A 39-year-old pregnant woman was admitted to a hospital last Sunday suffering from a high fever and chest pain.
Doctors managed to save her baby after an emergency operation on Wednesday.
The baby, who remains hospitalized, was not infected with the virus.
There are about 15,000 A/H1N1 flu cases in Spain, a ratio of 37.67 per 100,000 inhabitants, according to weekly figures published by the Health Ministry.
