An Israeli hospital says a Palestinian teenager shot in a clash with Israeli troops has died of his injuries , AFP reports.
Jerusalem's Hadassah Medical Center says the youngster died of gunshot wounds.
Palestinian police on Tuesday identified the dead boy as Mohammed Nayef, 14, and said he was shot while throwing stones at Israeli soldiers.
The Israeli military said the boy was one of three Palestinians who on Monday night hurled Molotov cocktails at a guard post near a Jewish settlement in the West Bank.
The military said troops opened fire, hitting one. Medics gave him first aid and he was taken to hospital.
The West Bank is controlled by Israel's military but partially ruled by the Palestinian government of President Mahmoud Abbas.
