An Azerbaijani judoka has qualified for a final in the European Junior Judoka Championship held in Armenia. Ilgar Mushkiyev triumphed over the Romanian sportsmen, Kosmin Lazarean in the semi-final. He will meet with the Russian Judoka, Viktor Achkinadze in the final.
Two other Azerbaijani judokas, including Rasim Asadullayev and Fagan Eminoglu could not win their rivals Floren Urani and Artem Buligo in the semi-final. Asadullayev's rival will be Italian Amadeo Assorsi and Eminoglu's - Spanish Ares Herrero.
A total of five Azerbaijani sportsmen are representing the country in the championship. Other members of the Azerbaijani squad, including Ramin Gurbanov (81kg) and Elmar Gasimov (100kg) will join the contest during the next days of the championship.
