Famous Azerbaijani Scientist of the U.S. Berkeley University, Lotfy Zadeh intends to cooperate with Azerbaijan more closely.
"I see a potential for high-technologies in Azerbaijan, because this country manages to become a leader in the region. Azerbaijan already is not only oil country; there are great opportunities for technologies in this country," Lotfy Zadeh said in his interview with Trend .
He said the development of science requires the development of industry. "And I think that is what Azerbaijan is currently doing. It's good that development is supporting by Government. And I am glad to provide all of my support in that sphere," Lotfy Zadeh said.
He said he had met with Mr. President Ilham Aliyev and many others and witnessed how much these people do and how much they contribute to Azerbaijan's future, to advance standards of living, technology, education, etc.
The Government of Azerbaijan has done a lot to make Azerbaijan and Baku as a center of the region, center of technologies, Lotfi Zadeh believes. "There are many things that are happening and moving Azerbaijan forward. I think these things must continue and there will be more initiatives," the scientist said.
