On Saturday the Desio city (Italy) will host the second stage of the Italian Championship on Rhythmic Gymnastics, which will be attended by the leading gymnasts of Azerbaijan Aliya Garayeva and Anna Gurbanova.
Garaeva favored for Ardor team from the Padua city, performing in Serie A2. Gurbanova with her Comense club from the same small town will compete in the main tournament - in Serie A1, a source at Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation told Trend .
In the first stage in Fabriano the Azerbaijani gymnasts performed with a rope. Anna Gurbanova's gained 26.075 points. Rope in Serie A1 was performed better by only Olympic champion from Russia, the world's strongest gymnast Evgeniya Kanayeva, who gained 27,900 points. Aliya Garayeva gained 25,450 points. In the second division, she won the 3rd place.
